TPT SOLUTIONS HAS BEEN ACQUIRED BY RACE WINNING BRANDS, A PORTFOLIO COMPANY OF MIDDLEGROUND CAPITAL

Prestwick is pleased announce the sale of TPT Solutions to Race Winning Brands, a portfolio company of MiddleGround Capital.  Prestwick acted as the exclusive advisor to TPT Solutions and its private equity sponsor, Five Points Capital.  The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

TPT Solutions was established by Five Points Capital, which acquired TransGo (www.transgo.com) in 2017, and subsequently added RevMax (www.revmaxconverters.com), and Transmission Specialties (www.tsirace.com) to create a comprehensive aftermarket transmission platform. TPT Solutions provides transmission-focused automotive aftermarket performance products for light truck, SUV/CUV, and racing vehicles. The Company’s key product categories include valve body repair kits, rebuilt transmissions, torque converters, and other transmission related specialty components/kits and has built a stellar reputation among its loyal customer base, due to its strong quality standards and culture of continuous new product development.

MiddleGround Capital is a Lexington, KY-based private equity firm that focuses on making control investments in select B2B middle-market businesses within the industrials, manufacturing, and specialty distribution industries.
